We're Back

We survived our first cruise! It actually was much better then I thought it would be, even when I take into account my bout with seasickness. I never thought I'd care for a cruise, but it was a nice way to relax, disconnect, and spend time with family.

On Thursday, we rounded everyone up and drove to New Orleans where we boarded our boat. Our trip happened to coincide with Super Bowl weekend, so got extra traffic and the occasional blimp.
We were on a short cruise, so we only got to stay in Cozumel for around six hours, but we had fun snorkeling and eating our way around town. Plus, the weather was excellent!
Each night we were greeted by a different towel animal. I'd never seen such a thing so it was always neat to see what was there each night.
And, yes, the only semi-decent picture of us together. I definitely need to teach my family how to use my camera.
P.S. If you ever decide to go on a cruise and you happen to be pregnant, you'll need a permission slip from your doctor! I had no idea and just happened to read the fine print the day before we left. No one ever asked for it but we had it with us. Plus, they don't allow you to cruise if you're over a certain number of weeks. Just so you know - we had no idea.
